McCloud Bridge Campground – Shasta Lake

McCloud Bridge Camping Site McCloud Bridge Camping area lies far up the McCloud River Arm of Shasta Lake in the Shasta-Trinity National Park. Those who make the drive out to McCloud Bridge know that they will be rewarded with a lovely, peaceful setting and excellent coastline fishing, specifically for brown trout. The nearby boat launch ramp is 8 miles to the south at Hirz Bay.

McCloud Bridge Camping area has 14 camping areas which can accommodate little RVs, trailers, and camping tents. 3 of the sites are doubles. All campgrounds are first come, initially served. The campground is on the website of an old ranch, surrounded by fruit trees, berries and sweet peas. A few of the most beautiful websites are on the lake/river side of the camping site. Even when the lake levels drop, the campers enjoy river-side outdoor camping.
