among the most popular spots in Southern California for outdoor camping and fishing. The recent additions of the Soaring Pines Cafe serving scrumptious food and Sprinkling Eagle Swim Zone have made Lake Hemet the vacation spot to be throughout the spring and summer season months.Remember to pack a
video camera and field glasses, and keep a watchful eye as stunning eagles, hawks, and other wildlife are typically seen skyrocketing throughout the forest and campground. Come and delight in camping, fishing, boating and the awesome surroundings all year round.DAY USE: In
addition to camping, Lake Hemet uses public access to the camping area for day use visitors day-to-day (hours vary by season). Day use is $25 per lorry and affords visitors with the opportunity to picnic, coastline fish, launch individual boats or kayaks (additional fees apply) and rent boats or kayaks from our marina. If you are going to other visitors who are overnight outdoor camping with us, the $25 fee still applies.Day usage vehicles need to stay a minimum of 30 feet from the shore at all times as both a safety preventative measure for personal effects and for the defense of our water because Lake Hemet is a reservoir.NOTE: During our summer season day use guests may not explore past the Camp 3 bridge and need to remain in designated day use locations. The camping site will be offered out each weekend so no access is allowed in Camps 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7. Go camping at Lake Hemet! Outdoor camping and fishing are the main tourist attractions to the lake, which is equipped with rainbow trout, bluegill and largemouth bass.
