A tornado might have destroyed his home, however he’s alive, thanks to a yearning for a hotdog. In fact, he says: “Hot dogs conserved my life.”
How could hot dogs conserve a life? Well, when a twister ripped through this man’s neighborhood in Omaha, Nebraska on Friday afternoon, he wasn’t home. He was at the gasoline station buying hotdogs.
Here’s a clip from the guy’s interview with a local news station:
In the complete interview, the guy, who is named Jason, also says he’s counting his true blessings and he’s grateful there were no fatalities in his area.
” Things can be changed, but family is whatever,” Jason states.
Jason states “hot dogs conserved my life” with a smile on his face, but he becomes a lot more solemn when the interviewer asks his ideas on what just occurred and how he prepares to move on.
” It’s absolutely unreal,” he says. “I’m going to salvage what I can here and take the next day as it comes. We’ll see.”
