In February, a 31-year-old male, his young son, and his buddy were riding motorcycles off roadway near Grand Mound when the 3.5-year-old young boy pointed at a far-off figure running along a ridge about a half-mile away.
The two adults saw what the kid pointed at, and it struck them as odd. The figure appeared high– too tall to be human, the witness told the BFRO (Bigfoot Field Researchers Company). The trio watched the too-tall, tan/brown humanoid figure run for about 30 seconds before it vanished from view.
Did they identify a sasquatch?
The location isn’t brand-new to Bigfoot sightings. BFRO detective Scott Taylor wrote in the report recording the sighting:
“These are the paths I presume [sasquatches] usage when they need to transit in between the mountains of the Olympic Peninsula, consisting of the Capital Forest location, and the Waterfall Mountains where Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens is located.”
Image by BFRO The Plot Thickens It’s what happened after the sighting that makes the situation even more fascinating. After news about the sighting started circulating, a local cross-country athlete stepped forward, stating he was the expected sasquatch.
The Chronicle reports personnel got an e-mail from Gunnar Morgan, a Rochester High School trainee, after the original story ran.
He composed: “That bigfoot running was me.”
Morgan is over six feet high, and he and his cousin were apparently running in action and side-by-side along that exact same ridge on the same date and time as the Bigfoot sighting. He says his GPS-enabled Garmin watch can show he was there.
“I can identify precisely where the motorcyclists should’ve spotted us and where we need to’ve been,” Morgan composed to The Chronicle. “I stand 6-foot-1, and from a range, we might be mistaken for a larger animal.”
What do you believe? Was Morgan the sasquatch, or did he directly miss experiencing one that was also out for a run?
A current Bigfoot sighting in Washington made the regional newspaper. Things got really unusual after the bigfoot came forward.
