Kentucky State Park campgrounds are expanded across the state so you’re not too far from being able to take pleasure in the outdoors. Four parks– Dale Hollow Lake, Pennyrile Forest, Taylorsville Lake and Carter Caves– also provide equestrian-friendly websites.
Each public camping site center provides amenities such as restrooms, path access, recreational vehicle electric and water hookups, a fire ring, table and more– all in a stunning setting with economical rates.

Camper Gratitude Weekend 2024 is April 26 – 28. All Kentucky State Park camping areas will be providing two nights of outdoor camping for the cost of one during the annual Camper Gratitude Weekend.

Kentucky State Parks have year-round camping sites. CLICK HERE for an assembled list. Due to weather, Kentucky State Parks can not guarantee the schedule of water or other resources at our camping sites throughout harsh weather condition months when freezing temperature levels are possible. Please get in touch with the park directly for readily available resources if taking a trip throughout months that are conducive to freezing temperature levels. Water limitations may use.
