Prepare to be envious of a ferret. Jesse James the treking ferret has the best life, a minimum of according to his TikTok account. A recent video shows off a day in the life of this adventure ferret, and it really does appear excellent.
In the video, Jesse’s owner, Lauren, who lives full-time in a recreational vehicle, states Jesse wakes up with her in the camping tent. Jesse gets to choose whether he sleeps with her or in his own sleeping bag (now we would like to know what a ferret sleeping bag looks like …), then they go on a walking. Jesse looks like he’s enjoying it as he hikes on a leash ahead of his human. At the end of the hike, he gets some kibble and water.
Then, the vibrant duo goes out on a lake in a kayak, before unwinding back at their campsite in a hammock. Did this ferret simply live out every outdoor enthusiast’s ideal day? I think he did.

Naturally, no life is perfect. Jesse and Lauren just recently went through a horrible experience. The set got in a car mishap, and Lauren lost her leg. Now an amputee, she continues to live a life loaded with outside adventure together with her trusty experience ferret. Thankfully, Jesse wasn’t hurt in the mishap and he was safely gone back to Lauren while she was recovering in the health center.
