Trail Web Cam Footage: Black Bear Cub Mercilessly Ambushes Brother Or Sister

Toogee Sielsch “Tahoe Toogee”has been an informal black bear professional in his city of south Lake Tahoe, California for about 40 years. He captures some excellent black-bear minutes from the Tahoe area on his trail electronic cameras, including a recent one revealing a young bear cub mercilessly ambushing its brother or sister at a watering hole.

“Sibling ambush!” composes Sielsch in the video’s caption on Instagram. “In real time and half speed slomo.”

In the quick video, you can see one black bear cub carefully approaching a watering hole through a night-vision path electronic camera. All of a sudden, another black bear cub emerges from the left, surprising the first cub, who raises up on its hind legs.

The interaction is brief however adorable. Sielsch included a half-speed, slow-motion variation of the minute to his social media video, too.
