SEE: An Internet User Rescues a Kangaroo from Crashing Waves

A video from Australia’s South Coast recorded the incident on Monday. According to an Instagram post, Brendan Riddick was strolling on the beach when he identified a kangaroo having a hard time in the water. Riddick rapidly jumped into the water with his surf board and headed towards the animal.

Another person on the beach, Natalie Cannon, filmed the whole occurrence.

In the clip, you see Riddick paddle out to the animal and try to assist direct it back to the beach. Nevertheless, crashing waves and a strong current kept pulling the kangaroo back out into much deeper water. Riddick is trying to do this all while the waves likewise throw his board around.
