Did you understand that seal sneezes sound a lot like farts? The majority of people probably don’t have any reason to understand that, however polar photographer John Bozinov does. In fact, he seems to capture seal sneezes on video quite regularly. Put a few of those seal sneezes together into a compilation, and you get a quite hilariously cute wildlife video.
Most seals are adorable no matter what they do (adult male elephant seals may be an exception, and possibly leopard seals too, because they’re far too fierce to be “charming”). But, in basic, these pinnipeds are charming. They transport out on land to rest and navigate by hopping or “galumphing”– and yes, that’s the real word for it.
When they’re not swimming or galumphing around on land, they’re lying around like seal sausages. And when they sneeze, well, watch and listen for yourself:
Truthfully, though, how often does Bozinov need to clean seal snot off his electronic camera lens? That last sneeze sent out snot flying into space.
