
Introduction Tanners Flat Camping site lies in beautiful Little Cottonwood Canyon at an elevation of 7,200 feet, simply 6 miles from Sandy, Utah. The canyon offers lots of hiking and cycling opportunities.Recreation Hiking and mountain biking trailheads can be found throughout the canyon. Hikers delight in Red Pine Lake, White Pine Lake and Maybird Gulch, all lovely hikes resulting in alpine lakes. Mountain bikers enjoy the Cottonwood Creek Trail and Albion Meadows Path. Little Cottonwood Creek uses great trout fishing and is a preferred among local fly-fishermen. Facilities The camping area contains 31 single websites, three double sites, four overnight group websites and an amphitheater. The household and overnight group sites have picnic tables and campfire rings. The group overnight websites likewise have grills and serving tables. The amphitheater has benches and a presentation area, but does not have tables or a fire ring. The amphitheater is offered in four hour blocks(8am-12pm, 1pm-5pm, 6pm-10pm). Flush and vault toilets are supplied, as is consuming water. A volleyball court is available but campers need to bring their own web and ball. Snowbird Resort is a couple of miles up-canyon, using scenic tram trips, treking, mountain biking, dining establishments, groceries, an Alpine Slide, zip line trips, concerts and numerous festivals. Albion Basin, part of Alta Ski Resort simply a couple of miles further up-canyon, hosts the Wasatch Wildflower Celebration yearly in late July/early August, complete with assisted nature walks. Charges & Cancellations Change and Cancellation Policies and Fees Overnight and Day Usage Facilities: To ensure fairness, reservation arrival or departure dates may not be altered beyond the

Specific Camping areas: If a consumer cancels a booking the day before or on the day of arrival they will be charged a$10.00 service fee and will also forfeit the opening night’s usage cost (not to surpass the overall spent for the initial booking). Cancellations for a single night’s appointment will forfeit the entire usage charge but no cancellation fee will use. Cabins/ Lookouts: Clients will be charged a$10.00 cancellation charge and forfeit the first night’s usage cost if a cabin or lookout appointment is cancelled within 2 week of the arranged arrival date. Cancellations for a single night’s usage will not be evaluated a service charge. Group Center: If a consumer cancels a group over night center reservation within 2 week of the set up arrival date they will be charged the$10.00 service charge and forfeit the first night’s usage cost. Cancellations for a single night’s use will not be examined a service charge. Group Day Use Location: If a consumer cancels a group day utilize center booking within 14 days of the arranged arrival date, they will forfeit the overall day utilize charge without any service charge charge. No-Shows Outdoor Camping/ Day Usage: A camping no-show consumer is one who does not get to a camping area and does not cancel the appointment by check-out time on the day after the set up arrival date. Booked campsites and group overnight centers will be held till check-out time on the day following your arranged arrival. Group day-use centers will be held up until check-in time on your scheduled arrival date. If a consumer does not get to the campground or group center by check-out time the day after arrival or does not cancel the booking by the times noted under”Late Cancellations”above, the client may be examined a$20.00 service fee and forfeit usage fees. Refunds Customers must ask for refunds no behind 2 week after the set up departure date. Recreation.gov will not grant refund requests after 14 days of departure. Reservation Charge: For some centers, trips or permits an extra reservation charge is charged. For some over night and day-use facilities, an extra non-refundable appointment cost might apply. The non-refundable appointment cost for tours and tickets is $1.00. The non-refundable booking fee for authorizations varies by place. Refunds for Bankcard Purchases: Refunds for bank card payments will be provided as a credit to the original bank card. Refunds for Check or Money Purchases: Refunds for Recreation.gov payments made by check or cash order, and money payments at selected camping areas will be issued a check refund. A refund will be processed within 1 month of invoice and approval. Please Keep in mind: Refund requests made during or after departure can only be processed when authorized by the facility management personnel based upon local policy. Refunds for Emergency Closures: In case of an emergency closure, the Recreation.gov team will try to alert users and provide alternate dates (as suitable). If this is not possible, reservations will be cancelled and all fees paid will be reimbursed. Reservation costs totally free tickets are non-refundable in case of an emergency situation closure.
