The Las Vegas Metropolitan Cops Department (LVMPD) said it sees “a great deal of strange things when people go out hiking,” but nothing touches this– a random reflective monolith in the middle of a Las Vegas treking path. How did it arrive? Why is it there? And what is it, exactly?
Members of Las Vegas Browse and Rescue spotted the unusual structure this past weekend near Gass Peak, according to an X post from the LVMPD. It appears to be a high prism made from reflective metal, but, regrettably, neither organization provides much more information, like how high it is, how heavy it is, and whether authorities have actually already removed it from the trail or not.
Mystical MONOLITH!We see a great deal of
weird things when people go treking like not being prepared for the weather, not bringing enough water … however examine this out!Over the weekend, @LVMPDSAR found this strange monolith near Gass Peak north of the valley. pic.twitter.com/YRsvhJIU5M!.?.!— LVMPD(@LVMPD)June 17, 2024 It’s not the very first time this thing(or something like
it) has appeared in
a random place. A reflective monolith showed up in the Utah desert in 2020, and then similar monoliths appeared in various places all over the world, including Freemont Street in Las Vegas. Monoliths have also emerged in Romania and Wales. Theories are plentiful about how the monoliths get to their final locations
and why. Some individuals even believe aliens lag the phenomenon. What do you make from this secret? There’s a random reflective monolith in the middle of
a Las Vegas treking trail. How did it
get there? Why is it there? What is it, exactly?
