Pierce Brosnan Apologizes for Trespassing into Yellowstone Thermal Location

James Bond star Pierce Brosnan provided a public apology recently and was purchased to pay a $1,500 fine for trespassing into a thermal location at Yellowstone National forest.

In his statement, Brosnan called himself “an environmentalist” and explained his actions as “a spontaneous error” when he entered the off-limits location for a photo.

Nevertheless, he added that he also did not see the “no trespassing” sign nor any warnings of risk as the ground was covered in snow.

“I deeply regret my disobedience and use my heartfelt apologies to all for trespassing in this sensitive location,” Brosnan stated.

According to court files, Brosnan was cited for trespassing back in November, while he was recording the movie Unholy Trinity.

The social media channel Tourons of Yellowstone is credited with sharing pictures of Brosnan while presenting in off-limit locations of the park.

A judge ordered him to pay a $1,540 fine for trespassing into a thermal location however dismissed the charge of breaching closures.
