Van Stadens Resort is located halfway in between Port Elizabeth and Jeffreys Bay, only 45 minutes from Port Elizabeth International Airport. Escape from the city but have the benefit of Bay West Shopping mall and a selection of shops and dining establishments in a picturesque 20-minute radius. The majority of the resort fronts on the peaceful Van Stadens River estuary. Swings for the kids. There are sand-boards, peddle-boats, paddle skis and canoes for hire. Come fishing (beach and estuarine), birding or swim in the lagoon or stroll along the rolling dunes or the beachfront.

- The 2-bedroom thatched rondavels represent the “Van Stadens” that everyone keeps in mind. Home furnishings are simple, however practical. Systems are cool.
- The cosy 1-bedroom face brick chalets have sea-views from the braai and patio locations. Home furnishings are simple and practical.
- Van Stadens has 90 yard websites ideal for tents or caravans. Some have shade from the safeguarding milkwood trees, others have panoramic views. All have access to electricity and water. You will need to bring your own portable braai, a long extension and a blue caravan plug (Fredlin-caravan-adaptor).
