They did discover pet paws in the snow and stated they were 99% particular it was a pet.
5 years later on, the clip still follows Morgan Saxton, who is still an on-air personality in Utah. Saxton appears to have gotten used to the videos and dispute, who posted just a week ago mentioning how the video is when again making rounds:
In the remarks, Saxton says she did head right for the television news crew’s live truck after the live shot because, even in person, it was hard to identify the animal.
Experts Weigh in on the “Mountain Lion” and Reporter Video
Outdoors.com sent out the clip to Mark Elbroch, a mountain lion expert with Panthera, an organization concentrated on wild feline preservation. He says the animal’s coloration completely matches a cougar, but it appears to end there.
“Ears are too big and triangular. Tail too short and clearly curved for the entire length– and static while moving instead of undulating,” wrote Elbroch. “Hard to state for sure, but at an early angle, I thought the legs looked too brief for the length of the body too. Domestic pet, in my opinion.”
