ENJOY: Kiteboarder Seriously Hurt After Knocking into Pier

Professional kiteboarder Alex Bloechinger was seriously hurt recently after slamming into a pier in St. Petersburg, Florida.

According to a GoFundMe page created on his behalf, Bloechinger was attempting to benefit from the forecasted heavy winds and jump the pier for a second time that day.

Sexton stated he thinks that the occurrence occurred when a gust of wind pulled Bloechinger from the surface of the water prematurely and swung him into the pier.

After knocking into the pier, Bloechinger’s good friends pulled him out of the water and very first responders carried him to a nearby healthcare facility.

As an outcome of the accident, Bloechinger, who became a pro kiteboarder 2000, suffered a damaged sacrum and pelvis, an ideal femur fracture, ligament damage on his left knee, fluid in his lungs, and some arterial bleeding in his best leg.
