Camping is the only way to stay over night at the parks.
NPS: John Chao
The only method to spend the night in the parks is to remain at a developed camping site (reservations suggested), or trek to a backcountry camping site (complimentary authorization required).
We have no hotels or lodges in the park. There are lots of lodging and outdoor camping options outside the park.
With preparation, outdoor camping in Redwood National and State Parks will be a pleasurable and rewarding pastime for visitors of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels.
Please bear in mind that setting up hammocks on any of the trees is not enabled. The use of hammocks and ropes can harm and mutilate the trees’ bark.
