You can prepare a visit to the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Museums, Sea World, Birch Aquarium, Safari Park, Lego Land and more! San Diego county has white wine tasting, breweries, theaters and eateries of all kinds. There are several beaches, mountain lakes, and even the deserts! You can skydive, or scuba dive, go deep sea fishing, or lake fishing, mountain biking, hiking, climbing up, or strolling the boardwalk! San Diego Canyon Creek is a small patch of woods, near a roadway, in a community. We are surrounded by rocky peaks, with a creek that frequently runs all year! We have multiple types of tune birds, owls, hawks, and other wildlife that live in this Riparian Habitat, with a chorus of frogs throughout the summer season nights. It’s an extremely short walk to the area park- equipped with several kinds of play ground devices and public creek gain access to, or a five minute drive to a Crestridge Ecological Reserve consisting of numerous routes. We have three camping sites and a cabin on about an acre of land. If you want to hang out on the home, we provide a table and chairs with each camping area to lounge in while enjoying the fresh air and nature. There are also a number of hammocks available. In addition, our SHARED features include an outside kitchen that includes a sink with warm water, 2 mini fridges,(full sometimes, extra coolers readily available) coffee maker, a two burner range, a frying pan, a toaster, mixer, tea kettle, and a couple of pans, plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. Likewise here to SHARE is a Propane fire pit and BBQ location. The bathroom now consists of a flush toilet, sink and shower. We are constantly making enhancements. Enjoyable Fact: Harbison Canyon was named after John Stewart Harbison – aka the King of the Bee Keepers. He arrived with over one hundred colonies of bees in 1874 and within 7 years he ended up being the world’s biggest honey manufacturer!
