For about$ 15.2 million, you might own a fantastic slice of the outdoors by acquiring the Land of Enchantment Cattle Ranch in New Mexico. If you do, though, I’ll be envious.
The tract of land, which encompasses about 12,700 acres, is an hour’s drive from Santa Fe, near the village of Tecolote. The real estate business selling the ranch, Hall and Hall, says “this cattle ranch includes migratory wildlife, abundant water improvement work, and thoughtful forestry management, as well as boundless recreational chances.”
Certainly, with its “numerous pine forests, grassy meadows, and canyons,” the Land of Magic Ranch sounds downright charming. There’s a creek there, too, along with springs, stock ponds, and some seasonal lakes and streams.
Can you think of not requiring to leave your own home to experience a lot outdoors? Can you envision the trail cam opportunities?
Hall and Hall says in its listing: “the ranch is preferably located for moving wildlife populations, including elk, deer, bear, mountain lion, turkey, and small game types.”
I suppose there’s a home there, too.
