lies 1.5 miles north of the camping site. Numerous other national forest beaches are within easy driving distance. Do NOT park in the Town of Beverly Shores ‘beach car park, which lies simply to the east of the Lake View lot. You will get ticketed. The town is extremely stringent. A filling station/ corner store lies __ mile north of the camping site at the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and Broadway Avenue. The Beverly Shores South Shore Railroad station with guest service to Chicago and South Bend is found on Broadway Avenue, __ mile north of the camping site.
