Shasta-Trinity National Forest
Bailey Cove Camping area is nestled in a forested area on the McCloud Arm of Shasta Lake. The site is a popular location due to its practical gain access to from I-5 and the surrounding public boat ramp.
The area surrounding the camping area offers an abundance of recreational and sightseeing opportunities.Each of the 7 websites has
a camping tent pad, picnic table, raised fire ring, bear boxes, and paved parking spur. Brick pavers have been used to offer additional ease of access. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided.There is a day utilize
location adjoined to the camping area and boat ramp, which supplies parking and restrooms and pic-nic tables with bbq’s and hiking tracks.

If appropriate, Golden Pass holder needs to be present; Bring voucher to the camping area

There is a $12/day charge for utilizing the day utilize location facility

The extra lorry charge is $12 per vehicle each day.

There is a $17 everyday charge required to use the boat ramp
- Bears frequent the location; Keep food in lockers provided or bring equipment to hang food from trees out of reach of bears

Lassen and the surrounding area.Recreation The camping area offers access to the 3-mile Bailey Cove Trail. This path hugs the shoreline and is open to both hikers and mountain bikers.
