The bear walked up to a path camera in the Pryor Mountains near the Wyoming-Montana border and attempted to consume it. The resulting footage is pretty amusing.
In the YouTube video by Steve and Nancy Cerroni, you can see a bear strolling towards the video camera. It walks past the cam at first, but then notices it and returns to inspect it out. The bear embraces a bite, offering viewers a glance at the roofing system of its mouth. Then it seems to whack at the camera playfully, rub its face on it, then move on.

Nancy Cerroni told Cowboy State Daily: “We have actually seen great deals of bears on the trail cameras, but this was the very first one I’ve seen straight engage with a camera like that.”
The Cerronis run the Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Center, and Cerroni says the black bears and mustangs in the location seem to get along. (Black bears can have brown fur, black fur, or cinnamon-colored fur.)

Cerroni doesn’t fault this curious black bear for tinkering her devices. While the bear certainly might have done damage, it appears the bear just wished to see what the cam would taste like.
