
Christa Smith shared video footage from a path webcam on the MAINE Wildlife Facebook Group revealing a deer with absolutely no worry of a bobcat. Turns out, the doe is likely pregnant, and she chases after the bobcat away for bold to come near her.
“Can’t think this was on the path webcam! The pregnant doe chased this bobcat off after it obviously got too close,” Smith writes in the post caption. “She implies business! Listen to her blowing!”
The trail cam video originates from previously this month in Danville Junction near Danville in southeast Maine. In the video, you first see a bobcat trot across a trail, then shock and look behind it as another animal starts chuffing loudly offscreen. The bobcat selects a path and starts down it, but not quick sufficient for this soon-to-be mama deer, who wants the predator gone and fast.
The doe goes into the field of vision from the right and makes certain the bobcat gets the message as she chases it down the course.
