
Last month, a seriously endangered types made a welcome appearance on a path web cam in Indonesia. Even better, it was a mom and her calf. Considering there are just around 70 Javan rhinos left in the wild, this is a great indication for the species.
A press release from the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry stated the Javan rhinos gone by a trail cam in Ujung Kulon National Forest on the western suggestion of the island of Java. Wildlife authorities think this is a new calf, including another rhino to the too-short list.
In the trail web cam video footage video posted to Facebook, the mom Javan rhino ambles by, followed by her infant. The Javan rhino calf wiggles its ears and stops briefly as its mother pauses. Then, the mommy reverses around, changing her mind about heading that instructions. The baby turns around too and trots off.

There are five rhino types left on Earth, and the 3 Asian species(Sumatran, Javan, and black rhinos )are all seriously threatened. According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Javan rhinos only live in Ujung Kulon National Forest in Java, Indonesia, though they utilized to reside in northeast India and southeast Asia.
Rhinos face dangers such as poaching for their ivory horns, habitat loss and damage, and, in many cases, low genetic diversity, which makes it tough for populations to recuperate.
