Perhaps the most popular camping area in Land Between The Lakes, Hillman Ferry, located just south of Grand Rivers in northern LBL, includes 374 distinct lake front and wooded camping sites. Piney lies in southwestern Land Between The Lakes, just off Fort Henry roadway and north of United States 79. There are 384 well-defined camping sites that are wooded or lake-front. 283 of those websites include electrical hookups. 44 websites have water, electrical and drain. Wranglers Camping site is special is that it caters for those who like horses. At Wranglers, you’ll discover opportunities for horseback riding and wagon driving lovers year-round.
The campground includes 220 camping sites with some including complete connections – electrical, water, and drain. Primitive campgrounds and primitive cabin rentals that sleep up to 8 are also on website. Lots of campsites can accommodate bigger recreational vehicle and even horse trailers.
There are over 100 miles of horseback riding tracks situated throughout the area, some with views of Lake Barkley. Assisted rides are also available for those who wish to delight in time on the routes but do not have their own horses from April through October.
