Boating and water activities
Potlatch has year-round moorage off of its 5,700-foot coastline. The normally calm Hood Canal waters are a popular location for swimming, boating, paddling, water snowboarding, crabbing and fishing (with a permit).
Camping
Camp among the tall pines at Potlatch. The park has 38 standard campsites, 35 partial hookup sites for Recreational vehicles and 2 hiker/bikers sites. An amphitheater and fire circles are likewise offered for visitor use.
Other activities
Potlatch’s estuary environment is a chance for fun and academic intertidal beach expedition and clam and oyster harvesting may be carried out in season with an authorization. The calm but steady winds are best for kite flying on the coast.
Treking is limited at the park however close by are several popular tracks that display the dynamic rivers of the region. Along the way, or in the park, visitors might identify regional elk herds and other wildlife.
