Stunning, Slow-Motion Video of ‘Otherworldly Wave’ Will Leave You Speechless

< img src="https://savageventures.b-cdn.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/slow-motion-wave-video.jpg?w=1200"alt ="" > A wave is not simply a wave through ocean videographer’s Philip Thurston’s lens. In reality, there are no words to truly describe Thurston’s latest video posted to Instagram, which reveals a “wild, otherwordly wave” cresting in sluggish motion. Thurston asks his community: “Have you ever seen such a spectrum of blues?” No, Thurston, we have not.

The video is easy; it shows a cresting wave at an unidentified area in the ocean. And yet, it’s so much more. The wave’s energy as it speeds forward, the difficult spectrum of blues that somehow intensifies as the video advances, and the incredible crisp information captured by Thurston’s camera make this video exceptional.

Thurston goes deep in his caption, saying: “Can you envision a colour that you’ve never seen? Is it even possible? We’ve discovered that colour is just wavelengths of light that we call the visible spectrum– the limitation to what our eyes can processing. So, due to the fact that we can not picture another colour, does that mean they don’t exist? Or, possibly we just don’t have the eyes to see them, yet?”

And now that he has the world’s attention (the video has 2 million likes and relying on Instagram), Thurston says his objective is to inspire.

“Apparently blue is the colour of spirituality, calmness, motivation and peacefulness, amongst other significances,” he writes. “So enable this wild, otherworldly wave of all the blues this world needs to provide to cool down your nervous ideas, inspire you to picture and bring you peace and serenity.”
