Yellowstone National Park uses 12 campgrounds with over 2,000 recognized camping sites. All camping sites need to be booked beforehand, with the exception of Mammoth Camping area which provides first-come, first-served websites from October 15 – April 1. Many campgrounds are scheduled far in advance, so it is recommended that you book as early as you can. All dates undergo change.

For all lifetime passes, the pass holder must be present with recognition for entry into Yellowstone National forest. We can not search for information if your pass is lost or stolen and can not accept receipts or pictures of the pass in lieu of the actual pass. On a snowmobile, lifetime passes confess the signer(s). When traveling by snowcoach or shuttle, they confess a signer and up to 3 additional grownups.   • Fishing Bridge Recreational Vehicle Park is the only camping site offering water, sewer, and electrical connections (50 amp service): it is for hard-sided cars only (no tents or tent-trailers).
  • Dump stations, where offered, may close when temperatures are below freezing.
  • Group websites are offered at Bridge Bay, Grant Town, and Madison campgrounds for large groups with a designated leader (e.g., instructional groups).
