Ain’t no anger like a mama bear’s anger. Two guys were driving their small truck on a course through a wooded location in Hokkaido, Japan, when they came between a mom bear and her cub. What took place next is both predictable and frightening.
In a video posted by ABC7 News, you can watch as the mad bear comes running from the woods onto the road in front of the truck, and does not even flinch as the truck continues to drive toward it. Then, the bear tramples the truck, batting at the windshield with its gigantic paws and mangling the windscreen wipers.
The truck briefly stops when the bear is directly in front of it, but then, fortunately, the males are able to keep driving as they scamper from the bear. Hokkaido police launched the video footage and said the truck had come between the mom bear and her cub, though we could not find a cub in the footage.
Cops likewise shared an image of the truck after the occurrence. The windshield is broken and the front of the vehicle is dented and battered looking. ABC7 reports that the males were foraging in the woods when the attack took place, however thankfully, they were in the truck and not exterior of it when they crossed courses with the bears.
