The young home feline lives in Colorado with her humans, and her social media profile recognizes her as a “climber,” an “adventurer,” a “breaker of boundaries/stigma,” and– my personal favorite– a “enthusiast of boops.”

Link isn’t rather internet well-known yet, but possibly she ought to be. Her notoriety got an increase last week when she and her human beings were in an area of trouble. The Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, a nonprofit rescue company based in Boulder, reports they rescued two climbers and their rock-climbing feline from First Flatiron after the trio ended up being stuck after dark.

Being a cat owner myself, when I first checked out this successful rescue, I had many questions. First, how has this feline not leapt from a cliff face after getting alarmed? And, second, just why?

After checking Link’s social media profile, I feel much better about the scenario. Here’s what Link’s owner and account manager composed in one current post:

” We definitely had a few stares and discussions in regard to Connect, mainly about how to train an adventure cat or how I can climb up with her. It’s always fun to share our understanding and experiences with others. At the end of the day if [Link] doesn’t like it then we don’t do it.”

It is great to understand this incredible feline has a choice in the matter, and we hope she truly enjoys her life as an experience feline. It’s clear Link’s owners enjoy her very much.

Would you go rock climbing up with a family pet in tow?
